Shelly's Recipe

*OVEN FRIED POTATOES*

4 baking potatoes, peeled and sliced diagonally in thin slices
1/2 stick butter, melted
Salt, pepper and garlic powder, to taste

Pat potatoes dry between paper towels and arrange in a single layer in 2 butter jelly-roll pans. Brush potatoes with butter. Bake at 500 for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. Season. Serve.

Variation: Good wrapped in foil and cooked on the grill. Added cooked crumbled bacon, cheddar cheese, chopped onion, parmesan cheese and dried herbs.
