RHINELAND SWEET AND SOUR RED CABBAGE (Crock Pot)

4 slices bacon, diced and cooked
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp flour
1 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup vinegar
1 medium heat red cabbage, shredded
1 small onion, finely chopped

Combine 1 tbsp bacon drippings in a crock pot with the next 4 ingredients. Stir in water and vinegar; add cabbage and onion. Cover; and cook on low heat 3-4 hours. Spoon into serving bowl; sprinkle bacon on top.
