SHORT RIBS WITH BEER SAUCE

4 tbsp flour
1 tsp Salt and pepper, to taste
1/4 tsp pepper and garlic powder
4 lbs beef short ribs
2 tbsp butter or oil
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp vinegar
1 cup ketchup
1 cube beef bouillon
1 1/2 cups beer
2 medium onions, chopped
1/2 tsp dry mustard
Combine first 4 ingredients; coat ribs with mixture. In a skillet, heat butter and brown ribs on all sides, add onions and cook until transparent, to brown. Place meat and onion in a large casserole or baking pan. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over meat. Bake at 375 for 1 1/2 hours or until meat is tender.
