M&M CHOCOLATE BARS

1 cup butter, softened
1/4 cup sugar and brown sugar
1 small pkg vanilla instant pudding mix
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 eggs
2 1/4 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 (6 oz) pkg chocolate chips
3/4 cup plain M&M candies
1 cup chopped walnuts

In a large mixer bowl, combine butter, sugars, pudding mix and vanilla extract. Beat in eggs. Add flour and baking soda and mix well. Stir in chocolate chips, nuts and half of M&M candies; mix well. Pour into greased 13x9 inch baking pan. Top with remaining M&M candies. Bake at 350 for 20 to 25 minutes.
