WHITE CHOCOLATE OATMEAL COOKIES

1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup packed brown sugar and sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 cups flour
1 1/2 cups oatmeal
1 tsp baking powder, baking soda and vanilla extract
1 cup almonds and white chocolate, chopped

Cream together first 3 ingredients until fluffy. Add egg and vanilla and beat. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Drop by spoonfuls on baking sheet. Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes. Allow to cool on the baking pan a few minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool.
