GARLIC PARMESAN SHRIMP PASTA

Garlic
1 lb angel hair pasta, cooked al dente
6 tbsp butter
12 cloves garlic, chopped fine
24 medium-size fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
Salt and pepper, to taste
1/2 cup parsley, chopped and divided
2/3 cup grated parmesan cheese, divided
1/2 lemon

Rinse and pay dry shrimp. While pasta is cooking, melt butter in a saute pan and add garlic. Saute lightly until soft but not brown. Add shrimp and a pinch of salt; saute until pink, about 3 minutes; remove from heat.

Drain cooked pasta and add to saute pan; toss lightly to coat. Add 1/3 cup parsley, 1/2 cup parmesan cheese and lemon juice; toss lightly to coat. Divide pasta and shrimp between 4 plates; top with remaining parmesan and parsley. Serves 4
