UPSIDE DOWN PEACH CAKE

1 (29 oz) can sliced peaches, drained or 2 cups sliced and peeled fresh peaches
1 (3 oz) pkg strawberry gelatin and peach gelatin
1/3 cup butter
1 box yellow cake mix
1 cup thawed whipped topping
Arrange peaches in a buttered 13x9 inch baking pan. Combine gelatins in a small bowl. Sprinkle about 3/4 of the mixture over the peaches and dot with butter. Prepare cake mix as directed on the package. Pour 3/4 of the batter into the pan. Stir remaining gelatin mixture into the remaining cake batter; blend well and pour into pan. Zig-zag spatula through batter to marble. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.. Cool 5 minutes in pan, then invert onto serving platter and cool completely. Garnish with whipped topping.
