MILE HIGH STRAWBERRY PIE*

Category: Pies - Fruit

Crust
1 1/2 cup flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 tbsp milk

Filling
10 oz pkg frozen strawberries, thawed
1/2 cup sugar
2 egg whites
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp lemon juice and vanilla extract
1/2 pint whipped topping

Crust: Stir together crust ingredients and press into a 13x9 inch baking pan. Bake at 425 for 6-12 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool crust completely.

Filling: Beat egg whites, sugar and salt until peaks are formed and fluffy. Fold in whipped topping, lemon juice and strawberries on top of cooked pie crust. Freeze.
