ORIENTAL BBQ PORK CHOPS

4 pork chops, about 3/4 inch thick
1 onion, finely chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
2 tbsp hoisin sauce
1/4 cup barbecue sauce
1/4 tsp pepper

Preheat oven to 375. Place chops in a baking dish just large enough to hold them. Stir remaining ingredients together and pour over chops. Cover loosely with foil. Bake for 30 minutes. Uncover, turn and baste chops. Continue baking until they are tender, about 15 more minutes.
