FROSTY STRAWBERRY CREAM PIE

Crust
1/2 cup shortening
2 tbsp sugar
1 cup flour

Filling
1 cup frozen strawberries, half thawed
1 unbeaten egg white
1/2 cup sugar
2 tsp lemon juice
1/2 cup whipping cream

Crust: Cream together shortening and sugar. Add flour and mix. Place 1/4 cup mixture aside and press remaining mixture in a 9 inch pie pan. Bake pie crust and remaining 1/4 cup crumbs separately at 375 for 12-15 minutes.

Filling: Combine strawberries, egg white, sugar and lemon juice. Beat at high until thick and creamy, 5-8 minutes. Beat whipping cream until thick. Fold gently but thoroughly into strawberry mixture by hand. Spoon into cooled pie shell. Sprinkle with reserved crumbs. Freeze. Serve frozen.
