3/4 cup whipping cream
1 cup finely chopped bittersweet chocolate
1 tbsp unsalted butter
2 tbsp hazelnut liqueur
3/4 cup hazelnuts
1 (3 oz) dark chocolate bar, chopped or 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Bring cream to a boil in a saucepan; whisking bittersweet chocolate, butter, and liqueur until well combined. Chill at least 2 hours.

Place nuts on baking sheet. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes or until nuts are toasted. Place warm hazelnuts in a dish towel, and rub vigorously to remove skins. Process in food processor until ground. Place in a shallow dish.

Shape chocolate mixture into 1 inch balls. Melt chopped chocolate in a small saucepan over low heat. Roll each ball in 1 tbsp melted dark chocolate, and immediately roll in toasted, ground nut. Cover and chill truffles until ready to serve.
