OVEN BARBECUED BEEF RIBS

2 lbs beef ribs
1/4 cup peach preserves
1/2 cup water
Juice of 1 lemon
1 tbsp vinegar
1/2 tsp paprika
Freshly ground black pepper
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Preheat oven to 425. Place the ribs on a rack in a shallow baking pan and roast in over for 30 minutes. In a small saucepan, combine remaining ingredients and cook over medium heat until thickened, stirring constantly. Set aside.

Remove the ribs and rack from pan and pour off the fat. Reduce the oven to 350 and return the ribs to the pan. Pour the sauce over the ribs and bake, uncovered, basting occasionally, until ribs are tender, about 1 hour. Serves 4
