EASY PORK AND SAUERKRAUT (Crock Pot)

Large red-skinned potatoes, cut into 1 inch cubes
1 lb pork roast; cut into 1 inch chunks
1 large onion, sliced
1 (32 oz) jar sauerkraut with juice
1/2 (12 oz) can beer
4 tbsp brown sugar
1/2 apple, peeled and cored
1 tbsp minced garlic and caraway seeds
1/2 tbsp fresh dill weed
1 tsp onion salt and dry mustard
1/2 tsp pepper

Put potatoes in crock pot. Combine ingredients and stir well. Submerse the apple under the other ingredients. Cook on High for 1 hour; reduce heat to Low and continue cooking for 5 hours or until pork is cooked through. Discard apple and serve. Serves 4-6
