ITALIAN HAMBURGERS

1 lb ground beef
1 egg
1/2 onion, grated
2 clove garlic, minced
2 tbsp chopped fresh basil
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese for topping

Combine ingredients; mix well. Preheat grill and form meat mixture into patties, about 1 inch thick.

Grill for about 5 minutes on each side. Sprinkle with remaining cheese over each burger and serve.
