SOUTH OF THE BORDER CHICKEN SALAD

2 cups cooked chicken, diced
2 cups celery, finely chopped
1/2 cup almonds, slivered
1/4 tsp Salt and pepper, to taste
2 tbsp grated onion and lemon juice
1 cup (or less) mayonnaise
1/2 cup cheddar cheese, grated
1 cup tortilla chips, crushed

Combine all ingredients except last 2. Place mixture into a casserole dish. Combine cheese and chips and sprinkle evenly over chicken mixture. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes or until heated through.
