SOUTHERN ROLLED DUMPLINGS

1 1/2 cups flour
3/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking powder
2 tbsp oil or melted butter
1/2 cup milk

Sift dry ingredients. Gradually stir in oil and milk. Divide dough in 3 parts. Roll out on floured surface. Roll thin and cut into 1x3 inch strips. Have chicken or beef stock boiling and drip on the dumplings. Reduce the heat and cook 15 minutes.

NOTE: These freeze well. Place on a cookie sheet in a single layer until frozen. Store in freezer container. When ready to cook, drop frozen dumplings in boiling stock.
