3/4 cup Madeira wine
1/2 cup canned beef broth
1 pkg sliced mushrooms
4 tbsp butter
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 tsp flour

Melt butter in a saucepan. Add mushrooms and sauté about 5-8 minutes. Add wine and broth and simmer until mushrooms are soft. Add flour, salt and pepper and stir until thickened. Simmer about 10 minutes. Use on steaks and burgers.
