BAKED CRANBERRY SAUCE

4 cups fresh cranberries, washed & dried
1 navel orange, washed, dried, halved, sliced, quartered
2 cups white sugar
1/3 cup brandy
1 cup pecans

Preheat oven to 300. Lightly butter a 2-quart baking dish. Combine cranberries and sugar in a bowl and toss to coat. Gently stir in apples and orange pieces. Toss and add pecans. Spoon mixture into prepared baking dish. Bake for 30 minutes. Remove and stir in brandy. Return to oven and bake for an additional 30 minutes, stirring often. Serve in the baking dish, or transfer to a serving dish, individual orange shells, or individual ramekins. May be served hot, at room temperature, or chilled. Makes 8 to 12 servings.
