BLUEBERRY BREAD

1/2 cup butter, at room temperature
3 eggs
1 1/2 cups sugar
3 cups flour, sifted
1 cup sour cream
4 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
2 cups fresh blueberries

Preheat oven to 450. Combine all ingredients except the berries and mix well. Fold in berries. Pour into a greased and floured tube/bundt pan. Sprinkle a layer of sugar on top. Bake for 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 350 degrees F and bake for another 40 to 50 minutes. Instead of blueberries, try substituting 2 cups fresh cranberries and 1/2 cup walnuts.
