BANANA PINEAPPLE DELIGHT

2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1/2 cup melted butter
1/2 cup butter, softened
2 cups confectioners sugar
2 eggs
1/4 cup cornstarch
1 tbsp vanilla extract
3 bananas
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 (20 oz) can crushed pineapple in heavy syrup, drained
1 (8 oz) container frozen whipped topping, thawed

Combine first 2 ingredients and pat into the bottom of a 13x9 inch baking pan.

In a medium saucepan, combine next 5 ingredients. Bring to a boil, stirring frequently. Continue stirring, reduce heat and simmer 8-10 minutes. Let cool, then spread over crust.

Peel and slice bananas, dipping each piece in lemon juice and layer over custard mixture. Layer pineapple on top and cover with whipped topping. Refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving.
