APPLE CINNAMON FRENCH TOAST

12 (1 inch) slices French bread, sliced diagonally
4 oz cream cheese, softened
4 eggs, beaten
2 cups milk
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp sugar
1/4 tsp vanilla
6 cinnamon apple rings

Combine eggs, milk, cinnamon, sugar and vanilla, beating well. Dip bread slices into egg mixture. Brown in skillet. Flip slices to brown on second side.

Spread cream cheese on six slices of bread and place remaining six slices on top of the cream cheese coated slices to form a sandwich. Serve with apple ring on top and pour with apple cinnamon syrup. NOTE: Dollop with whipped cream and sprinkle with chopped nuts.
