3/4 cup flour
Dash salt
2 tsp baking powder
1 3/4 cups sugar
3/4 cup milk
1/2 cup butter
3 cups sliced fresh peaches

Preheat oven to 350. Sift together dry ingredients. Mix with 1 1/2 cups sugar. Slowly add milk. Melt butter in a 8 inch square baking pan. Pour batter over butter; do not stir. Lay peaches on batter. Sprinkle with 1/4 cup sugar. Bake for 1 hour. Serves 6
