Grilled - BBQ HAWAIIAN HAM STEAKS

2 cup pineapple juice
1/2 cup brown sugar
4 tbsp lemon juice
2 tsp onion salt and fresh garlic -- minced
4 tsp soy sauce
4 (3/4 inch thick) smoked ham steaks
2 (8 oz) can sliced pineapple rings optional
Combine first six ingredients and heat till boiling, then turn down and simmer covered for about 10 minutes. Cool, and marinate the ham steaks in this for an hour or so. Grill the ham slices till heated, and look good - remember, they are already cooked. Baste well with the marinade. Serves 4
Optional: Grill the pineapple slices until browned, and serve with the ham, passing any remaining sauce.
