KENTUCKY PECAN DIP

1 cup chopped pecans
1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, softened
4-5 tbsp milk
2 1/2 tsp butter
5 oz dried beef, finely chopped
1 tsp garlic powder or garlic Salt and pepper, to taste
1 cup sour cream
5 tsp dried minced onion

Saute pecans in butter; set aside. Mix all ingredients well and place into a baking dish. Top with pecans. Microwave on high for 6 1/2 minutes or bake at 350 for a bout 30 minutes. Serve with crackers.
