* ITALIAN FONDUE I*

1 medium onion, chopped
1/2 lb mushrooms, chopped
1/2 red bell pepper
1/2 lb ground beef or Italian Sausage
2 (10 1/2 oz) cans pizza sauce
1/2 cup red wine, optional
1 1/2 tsp fennel seed and oregano
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella and provolone or fontina cheese
Italian or French bread, cut into pieces

In a saucepan, brown onion, mushrooms, bell pepper and beef. Drain. Add sauce, wine, and seasoning, stir until heated through. Add cheese by handfuls and stir until smooth. Pour into a fondue pot; keep warm while serving. Serve with bread. Serves 4
