BAKED ARTICHOKE AND CHEESE DIP
Category: Dips - Hot
1 oz white wine
2 tsp chopped onion
1/4 cup chicken stock, half-and-half, and heavy cream
2 oz cream cheese
1/4 hydrated sun-dried tomatoes, sliced thin
1/4 lb grated Monterey jack and cheddar cheese
2 tsp chopped herbs (parsley, chives, basil and rosemary)
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 can quartered artichoke hearts, finely chopped
For dipping
1 loaf Beer bread, Italian or Country style bread, sliced thin and toasted
Combine dip ingredients and place in a casserole dish. Bake at 450 for 10 minutes. Remove from oven and serve with toasted bread.
