PETITE SHRIMP PASTRIES

Filling
1 small onion, minced
1/2 lb mushrooms, chopped
1 lb raw shrimp, peeled and coarsely chopped into 4 pieces per shrimp
3 tbsp butter, melted
1 tsp salt
1 drop hot sauce
2 tbsp flour
1/4 cup sour cream
Pastry
9 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup butter
1 1/2 cups flour
Filling: Saute first 3 ingredients in the butter until the shrimp are pink. Add remaining ingredients; mix well. Cover and chill until cold.
Pastry: Blend ingredients in a food processor until a dough forms. Wrap the dough in waxed paper and chill.
To make the pastries, roll chilled dough on a flour surface until thin. Cut out circles and place a small amount of cold shrimp filling until thin. Cut out circles and place a small amount of cold shrimp filling on one side of the circle. Fold circle in half; seal the edge with a fork. Place on a cookie sheet and bake at 400 for about 12 minutes or until lightly browned.
