APPLE BRICKLE DIP

1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 pkg almond brickle chips or English toffee chips
3 medium tart apple like Rome, halved, cored and sliced
1 (12 oz) can lemon-lime soda

In a mixing bowl, beat first 3 ingredients and fold in chips. Soak apple slices in soda. When ready to serve, Drain and lay the apple slices around the bowl of dip.
