BANANA GINGERBREAD LOAF

2 1/2 cups baking mix
1/2 cup sugar and chopped nuts
1/2 tsp ginger
1 tsp ground cinnamon
3 eggs
1 cup mashed bananas (about 2)
1/4 cup oil and molasses

Cream Cheese-Molasses Spread:
6 oz pkg cream cheese, softened
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp molasses

Heat oven to 350. Grease and flour a loaf pan. Combine the dry ingredients. Mix next 4 ingredients. Stir into dry until moistened; beat vigorously, scraping bowl once, 40 strokes. Pour into pan. Bake 50-55 minutes. Cool 10 minutes. Loosen sides of pan; remove from pan to cool completely before serving with spread.
Spread: Mix ingredients together until creamy.
