UPSIDE-DOWN GERMAN CHOCOLATE CAKE

1 cup coconut flaked
1 cup pecans chopped
1 pkg German chocolate cake mix
3 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1 cup butter, melted
8 ounces cream cheese softened
Peat oven to 375. Grease a 13x9-inch pan. Sprinkle coconut and pecans evenly over bottom of greased pan. Prepare cake mix as directed on box. Spoon batter evenly over coconut and pecans.
In another large bowl, combine confectioners sugar, butter and cream cheese; beat until smooth and creamy. Spoon evenly over batter and pull through the cake mixture just a little. Bake for 40 minutes only. Remove cake even though it may not look done. Cool completely, about 1 hour. Serve
