SHRIMP WITH GREEN PEPPERS

1 lb raw shrimp, shelled and deveined
6 tbsp flour
3 tbsp grated parmesan cheese
1 3/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup olive or salad oil
1 clove garlic, crushed
6 medium green peppers, cut into strips
1/4 cup dry white wine
Dash pepper
Toss shrimp with flour, cheese and 1 tsp salt, coating well. Slowly heat ol in a large skillet. Add shrimp and garlic; cook about 5 minutes or until golden. Remove shrimp from skillet; set aside.
Add pepper strips to skillet. Cook, covered over medium heat, 10-15 minutes or until crisp-tender. Add shrimp, remaining salt, and wine to skillet. Cook, covered until heated through. Serve with rice, if desired. Serves 4
