ROCKY ROAD CANDY CRISPS

1/4 cup butter
6 heaping cups mini marshmallows, divided
12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/4 cup light corn syrup
2 cups walnuts, coarsely chopped
3 cups crisp rice cereal

Put butter, 3 cups marshmallows, chocolate chips and corn syrup in a medium saucepan. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until chocolate and marshmallows are melted. Remove from heat.

Stir 2 cups marshmallows, 1 1/2 cups walnuts and cereal into the chocolate mixture until blended. Spread candy mixture evenly into a buttered 13x9 baking pan. Sprinkle remaining marshmallow and 1/2 cup walnuts over chocolate mixture.

Press into chocolate. Let candy sit for a couple of hours before cutting into squares. Cut candy and remove from pan. Place in cupcake or candy paper, if desired.
