HERB WINE MARINADE

Category: Sauces, Marinades, Spices, Glazes and Rubs

1 cup dry white wine
1/2 cup olive oil
1 tbsp white wine vinegar
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 small onion, sliced (omit for seafood)
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tsp dried herb combination*
Mix all ingredients together in dish to marinade food. Use for lamb, veal, chicken, shellfish and fish.

Lamb – thyme, parsley, rosemary and mintVeal – marjoram, thyme, parsley, and sage
Chicken – marjoram, thyme, parsley and tarragon
Seafood – dill, marjoram, parsley and chervil
