SAVORY ROASTED CHICKEN

1 whole chicken

Combine the following ingredients:
1/2 cup sugar
2 tbsp garlic salt, seasoned salt and Hungarian paprika
1 tbsp chili seasoning and black pepper
1 tsp ground ginger
1/2 tsp ground allspice, mace and cinnamon
Olive oil

Mix thoroughly all ingredients except the oil in a bowl. Coat the chicken with the oil and then sprinkle the seasoning mixture both on top as well as under the skin. While the chicken is marinating, begin heating the grill. Cook in indirect heat until done.
