YANKEE RIBS

8 lbs pork spareribs, cut into 2-rib portions
2/3 cup light molasses
3 tbsp balsamic vinegar and prepared mustard
2 tbsp hot pepper sauce
Heat ribs and cover with water. In a large saucepan over high heat bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer 45 minutes or until ribs are tender. Drain.
Preheat grill. Combine remaining ingredients in a bowl. Place ribs on the grill and put on rack 6-8 inch from heat source. Brush ribs with sauce. Grill for 15 minutes or until heated through, turning occasionally and brushing often with sauce. Serves 8
