BEER SAUCE AND BRATS

8 fresh bratwurst links
1 tbsp flour
2 tsp oil
1/2 tsp dried marjoram
1/8 tsp caraway seed
1 (12 oz) can dark or double bock beer

Prepare grill for medium hot coals. Grill brats 18-25 minutes or until no longer pink in the center, turning several times to brown on all sides.

In a small saucepan, combine flour and oil over low heat, stirring frequently until light brown. Add next 3 ingredients, gradually whisking in the beer. Bring the sauce to a boil; reduce heat and simmer, stirring frequently, until sauce in slightly thickened. Place brats in sauce to coat. Serve with remaining sauce.
