Shelly's Recipe

ITALIAN GOULASH

1 lb ground beef
1 lb hot Italian sausage
1 lb sweet Italian sausage
2 tbsp olive oil
3 medium zucchini, sliced
1 small eggplant, cubed
3 green peppers, cubed
2 onions, chopped
1 minced garlic clove garlic, minced 2 (14 1/2 oz) cans tomatoes
1 1/2 tsp Salt and pepper, to taste
2 tsp pepper
1 tsp chili powder
2 tsp sugar

Brown meats, remove and drain fat. Add vegetables and saute, about 10 minutes. Return meat to pan, along with remaining ingredients. Simmer, uncovered, about 1 1/2 hours. Serve over noodles or rice.
