STUFFED MUSHROOM CASSEROLE

2 pkg frozen spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
1 cup sour cream
1 cup each cheddar cheese and Monterey jack cheese
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
1/4 cup green onion tops, chopped
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp Italian seasoning
12 giant mushrooms, stems removed
1/4 cup green onions, sliced
1 lb ground sausage or hamburger
1/2 cup each cheddar cheese and Monterey jack cheese
1 tsp salt
Nutmeg, optional

Mix together first 8 ingredients. Place mushrooms cut side up in a large baking dish. Spoon spinach around edges. Sauté meat lightly with sliced green onions and salt. Spoon over mushrooms. Top with cheese. Bake, covered, at 350 for 25 minutes.
