NEWBURG CRAB CHOWDER

4 oz bowtie or small pasta
6 oz crab meat, cleaned of cartilage and shell
6 tbsp butter
1/2 lb sliced mushrooms
2 pkg Newburg sauce
3 cups milk
1 cup water
1 chicken bouillon cube
1/4 cup sliced green onions
Cook pasta according to pkg directions. Melt butter in a saucepan and saute mushrooms for 3 minutes. Add sauce mix and stir well with a wire whisk. Add milk, water and chicken bouillon and continue to stir until mixture comes to a boil. Reduce heat and crabmeat, pasta and green onions. Stir to combine and heat through.
