FRUIT TORTE

1 frozen loaf pound cake, thawed, sliced diagonally into 3 layers
1 cup ricotta cheese
1/4 cup sifted confectioners sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 large banana, thinly sliced
Lemon juice
1 1/2 cups fresh fruit or berries

Beat cheese, sugar and vanilla. Dip banana slices in lemon juice. Spread each layer of cake with cheese mixture. Top with bananas and fruit.
