OLIVE HERB CHEESE SPREAD

Category: Spreads -- Cold

2 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese
1/2 cup assorted Greek, French, or Italian olives
2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
2 tbsp chopped fresh basil
1 tsp fresh lemon zest
Black pepper, to taste

Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl. Blend well with a wooden spoon. Spoon into a crock or serving dish. Garnish with snipped chives or fresh herbs. Serve with crackers, cut fruits and vegetables. Makes 2 cups
