BRUSCHETTA TOPPED LONDON BROIL

2 tomatoes, seeded and chopped
1/2 cup chopped onions
1/4 cup chopped basil
3 tbs olive oil
2 tbs red wine vinegar
2 tbs pine nuts, toasted
2 tbs Montreal steak seasoning
1 tbs vanilla
2 pounds London Broil (Beef)

Heat broiler. In bowl, combine first 3 ingredients and 2 tbs oil, vinegar and nuts. Season with salt and pepper, if desired.

In separate bowl, combine remaining oil, steak seasoning and vanilla. Coat both sides of London broil with oil mixture. Place steak on tray set in broiler pan. Broil 20 min. Or until 145 degrees on thermometer, turning once. Transfer to platter. Top with tomato mixture. MAKES 8 SERVINGS.*
