BLACK TIE CHOCOLATE CAKE

1 box dark chocolate or fudge cake mix
4 eggs
1/2 cup oil
1 small pkg instant chocolate pudding mix
3/4 cup plus 2 tbsp water
1 (6 oz) pkg semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/4 cup rum

Preheat oven to 350. Oil a tube pan and line bottom with wax paper. Empty chocolate chips into a small bowl and pour the rum over them. Let soak, stirring occasionally while mixing the cake batter.

Mix remaining ingredients in a large bowl and beat for 4 minutes. Blend in rum mixture on low speed. Pour into pan and bake at 350 for 60 minutes. Allow to cool before taking out of pan.
