FONDUE CHEESE MUFFINS

1 egg
1 cup milk
3 tbsp melted butter and kirsch
1 cup grated gruyere cheese
1 clove garlic, crushed
1/2 tsp nutmeg
3 tsp baking powder
2 cups flour

Preheat oven to 375. Lightly grease muffin pan. Put first 4 ingredients into a bowl and mix well. Add remaining ingredients and blend until just mixed. Spoon into pans and bake for 15-20 minutes.
