SALMON PATE

Category: Spreads -- Cold

1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, softened
8 oz mayonnaise
4 large garlic cloves
10 pitted olives
2 green onions, cut into 1 inch pieces
1/2 tsp seasoned salt and dried dill weed
1 (14 3/4 oz) can pink salmon, drained and bones discarded or 1 1/2 to 2 cup flaked, cooked salmon

Place into the food processor the first 7 ingredients. Blend until smooth. Next, add the salmon and mix together. Put mixture into a bowl; cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving. Serve with crackers and/or fresh vegetables..

NOTES: Have added grated peel of 1/2 lemon and juice of 1 lemon as well
To frost the pate, I mixed together 4 oz cream cheese, grated peel of 1/2 lemon and 2-3 tsp milk and spread over pate.
