POTATO AND SMOKED SAUSAGE PACKETS

1 (28 oz) pkg frozen O’Brien hash brown potatoes
1 (16 oz) pkg miniature smoked sausages
3/4 cup ranch dressing
1 cup shredded cheddar and American cheeses
2 tbsp chopped chives or green onions
Preheat grill. Cut 4 (18x12 inch) sheets of heavy duty foil with cooking spray. In a large bowl, combine first 3 ingredients and spoon mixture evenly onto foil sheets. Wrap each packet securely using double-fold seals, allowing room for expansion.
When grill is heated place packets on grill over medium; cover grill and cook 30-35 minutes. Rotate and turn packets over several times until potatoes are tender. Remove packets form grill; open carefully to allow steam to escape. Sprinkle with cheeses. Close packets; let stand until cheese is melted.
