SPICY SKEWERED SHRIMP

2 lbs large shrimp, shelled
1/2 cup olive oil
2 tbsp chili powder
2 tsp ground black pepper, garlic salt and hot sauce
Preheat oven to 400. If using wooden skewers, soak skewers in water for 15 minutes.
Place shrimp on skewers and place skewers in a large shallow baking pan. Set aside.
Combine olive oil, chili powder, pepper, garlic and hot sauce in a small saucepan. Place over medium heat and bring to a boil. Pour over skewered shrimp, turn once to coat.
Bake, uncovered, for 12 to 15 minutes, or until shrimp are done, turning occasionally to coat with spices. Serve with French bread. Serves 6
