Shelly's Recipe

PEAS AND CREAM

1 medium onion, chopped
1 tbsp olive oil
2 (14 1/2 oz) can diced tomatoes
1 (10 oz) pkg frozen peas, thawed
1/4 cup packed basil leaves, chopped
1/4 cup heavy cream
1/2 tsp Salt and pepper, to taste
1/4 tsp crushed red pepper

Saute onions in a large saucepan over medium heat until translucent. Add remaining ingredients; stir until thickened and heated through.
