2 cups water
1 cup Worcestershire sauce and vinegar
2 bay leaves
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 medium onion, chopped
1 tsp dried thyme
2 stalks celery with leaves
6 juniper berries, crushed

Combine ingredients and bring to a boil. Simmer 10-15 minutes. Cool. Apply to meat and refrigerate 2-48 hours. Marinate in a sealed zip-lock baggie turning the meat evenly to distribute the marinade. Boil the extra marinade before basting while cooking.
