HAZELNUT CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

12 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
1 cup brown sugar
1 tbsp Frangelico
1 egg
1 egg yolk
1 2/3 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup hazelnuts, toasted and coarsely chopped
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 375. Beat the softened butter and brown sugar, then add and beat the Frangelico (original recipe called for rum), egg and egg yolk. Mix together the flour, baking soda, and salt and stir into the butter and sugar mixture. Blend in hazelnuts and chocolate chips.

Drop batter (1-2 tsp each) onto parchment paper lined pans and bake for 12 to 15 minutes. Cool on the baking pans.
